Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR)

Mechanical Vapour Recompression is a proven energy-saving evaporative concentration technology, which reduces evaporation thermal energy consumption by 90% or more. MVR evaporator operate on a “heat pump” principle. The evaporated water vapour is recompressed with a simple, centrifugal fan or compressor which increases the saturation temperature of the vapour. After the fan, vapour is used as heating steam in the same unit.

Chemin offers MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) for larger volumes. MVR is very energy efficient, since the latent heat of vaporization is fully utilized through vapor recompression and condensation.

MVR energy-saving evaporation is currently the most advanced technology, wherein only a very small amount of steam is required (small quantity of steam required during start-up & normal operation), thereby greatly reducing the operation cost as well as environment pollution.
